Jade's Pet and Farm Sitting
Hi! My name is Jade Cross. I am the Store Manager here at Bozeman Dog Company but I am also offering my pet sitting services. I am an 19-year-old who resides here in the Gallatin Valley. I love animals more than anything; dogs and horses are for sure a favorite. Now that I have moved away from my home in Virginia, I’m looking to get back into the animal world- I miss it so much!
I have been dog-sitting professionally for about five years now. I do have many references available upon request, as well as listed below. Throughout my life, I have lived with and raised several dogs, as well as cows, chickens, pigs, fish, turkeys, goats, cats, and other odd end creatures. Furthermore, I do have pet sitting and/or work experience with horses, reptiles, small animals (bunnies, Guinea pigs, hamsters...), and more!
Services I am offering to the greater Gallatin area include any pet sitting, horse/farm work, housesitting, plant care, dog walking, colt breaking, horse groundwork, watering/feeding/cleaning animals and enclosures/areas, and over-night stays. If you are requesting something I did not list, we can discuss it further. Please contact me for my rates, more information, and/or any questions you may have :)

Pet Sitting
Over the last five years or so, I have been professionally pet sitting on my own- whether it be here in Bozeman, or back home in Virginia. I offer drop-in visits, dog walks, overnight stays, and more. I am experienced in every breed, size, and shape of pet and I love to work with them all!
For dogs specifically, I am extensively experienced with pup sitting, any and all dog needs, dog grooming, and safe walking. I have never lived in a home without pups around- plus all the pet sitting! I absolutely love all breeds of dog, and hope to spend all my life around them.

Equine
Besides dogs, horses are my favorite to train/work with. I am experienced in halter breaking, groundwork, colt starting, riding, and more. I worked at a equine barn, "Advantage Horsemanship" now partnered with "Hope for Horses" for nearly two years before moving to Montana. I loved it there! I also worked with odd end barns around my hometown, helping to train and desensitize horses.
I do not usually book through Rover. Please feel free to read my testimonials and see my profile through here, though!

If you are looking for someone to care for your pet as their own, look no further than Jade! We have a doggie door, our dogs eat leisurely (free fed), but they really need (okay I need) an emotional support human for them when we’re gone. Jade went above and beyond, was available to stay in our home, and sent photos (unprompted) just to show that everyone was doing well. She came highly recommended in our community and I am happy to continue to highly recommend her to others. Trustworthy,‘conscientious, and a pleasure to work with- Jade is a phenomenal young lady!

I grabbed Jade’s business card at her family’s yard sale and am so happy I did. She is fantastic! Not only is she flexible and affordable, she knows animals. She has cared for our cats, dog and bearded dragon numerous times. She’s even picked our dog up from the kennel when we had a late flight back from vacation. I would be more than comfortable recommending her to any of my friends.

Ever since I’ve known Jade she has always loved animals of all kind. Aside from owning plenty of animals herself, she has plenty of experience watching other peoples pets, especially dogs. Most of the jobs she has had dealt with animals simply because she wants to be surrounded by them as much as she can. She is an extremely loving and responsible pet owner. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to reading a pets behavior and she always puts their needs first. My dogs absolutely adore her and she is the first person I go to when I need someone to watch my dogs.

Are you in need of an amazing dog sitter? Are the kennels full or do you prefer to keep your pet in their familiar environment and routines? Meet Colt and Taylor, your Furry Friend’s new BFFs! Veteran pet owners and sitters!
Taylor grew up in a family with cats, dogs and bunnies and grew her dog sitting business during college and graduate school through Rover. Colt grew up with dogs, cats, and reptiles and after Colt and Taylor got married, he joined her in her dog sitting ventures.
We are ready to love on your furry family members while you are away and are keen to the needs of animals. We are both animal lovers and find being around them brings so much joy to our lives (and there is so much we can learn from them!). We are positive your animals have so much joy to share as well!
We have experience with dogs of all ages (puppies-seniors) and can adapt to their specific needs whether that be increased exercise or medication administration. We are active and fit and provide your pets the exercise they need. We are ready to go above and beyond to make sure that they are comfortable in your absence.
Due to our work schedules, your dog will not be alone for long extended periods of time. Thus, being able to give your pets the love and care they need. We take care to keep the dogs on their regular schedule for meals and walks as much as possible.
During the stay you can expect us to be taking your dear pet on long walks around the neighborhood, to local parks and on hikes. Lots of playing with toys such as tug-o-war and ball throwing as well! And of course…snuggles and lots of love! We also send picture updates each day.
We always are happy to help out around the house as you may need too while gone (water plants, put trash bin out, run errands, clean for your return etc).
Prior to booking us, we always schedule a meet and greet so we can meet you and your pets to make sure that we are a good fit and will be able to meet all your needs. We are even happy to go on a walk with you to see how they behave with you and other dogs if that makes you feel more comfortable.
We also go through meal routines with you and any supplements/medications that need to be given as well as any specific requests or needs.
