BOZEMAN DOG COMPANY TEAM

Jon Springer
Owner

As owner of Bozeman Dog Company and Invisible Fence of the Big Sky, I love my work!  For me, it's not a job—it's a passion.  It’s a great joy to provide safety for your pets and peace of mind for you. I love making friends with the many, many pets I meet, helping them to learn new boundaries. I enjoy meeting and working with the people who want the very best for their pet(s)—the best training, technology, service and support.

My wife and I have been Montana residents for 30+ years, and as family business owners we're in it for the long haul. Our mission is to make life with your pet(s) more enjoyable!  We hope you’ll allow us the opportunity to do so.

Courtney Horning
Store Assistant
Dog Trainer

Courtney is a recent graduate of Montana State University. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with her previously obtained degree in Psychology. In addition to her educational experience with animals, she has extensive experience from her years of work as a veterinary technician in Memphis, TN.

She has always had a passion for animals, and has made it her life’s goal to have a career working with animals. She is in the process of completing her certification of dog obedience and puppy training through the Canine Training Academy. Eventually she will hold her very own puppy and obedience training group classes and private sessions through the shop beginning around the start of 2018. Outside of work Courtney enjoys spending time with her new husband and their family pets.

Lennon
Store Dog

Lennon is Courtney’s dog that she rescued while working at one of the veterinary clinics in Memphis, TN. Lennon is a 9 year-old corgi/jack russell terrier mix that loves to play in the shop and greet the customers.

Dana Decker
Store Assistant
Dog Groomer

We’re delighted that Dana Decker joined our team to provide full-service dog grooming!  She moved here from Georgia to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Horsemanship at the University of Montana Western.  She loves life in Montana, particularly horseback riding, skiing, hiking, camping and just being with friends and family.

Growing up with multiple dogs, cats, horses, and a lot of other farm animals, Dana developed a deep love for all things animals.  During her college years, worked at a vet clinic, with bathing dogs as part of her responsibilities.  She enjoyed that line of work and moved on to become a Junior dog groomer at PETCO and has now joined the Bozeman Dog Company team as a dog groomer.
